Aluminum Briefcase
The Halliburton case was an aluminum briefcase case belonging to Marshal Edward Mars. The bag containing arms (four guns), boxes of ammunition, documents and Kate's toy airplane. The suitcase was found by Kate and Sawyer at the bottom of a lake. In "Exodus - Part 1", tells the Marshal to be saved in the crew cabin. It is unknown how he got to the bottom of a passenger seat. Sawyer tried to open the bag by throwing it into things and letting it fall down. Hurley mocked Sawyer attempts, since it is known that said you could not force a Halliburton briefcase. Jack negotiated possession of the aluminum briefcase with Sawyer when he learned that he had. Jack managed to keep the bag and put the key in his neck. The case served as a store of weapons during the first season.
