Custom Made Briefcases
Earlier this week, I was in Paris, and chance custom made briefcases me book a room in a hotel recently opened eco-design, whose rooms have been designed to promote well-being. Some of them offer a absolutely brilliant, an attendant called NightCove sleep, which diffuse light and sound programs that impact the quality of sleep. Zyken developed and manufactured by a French start-up, the NightCove works almost alone. You press a button to choose a mode: sleep, nap or wake up, you choose a musical, and presto, you're in for a few minutes to reach the arms of Morpheus. As an adult in two, I'm one of those people who sleep too little or too much. To get to sleep, I tried two methods: counting sheep or making love. As for the alarm clock, forget it, it is laborious almost every morning . . . In general, you should give me time to drink tea, eat three slices of bread (cafes and take two) before I speak things really serious . . . . After fifteen hours spent in front of my screen when I turn off the light, the transition is too abrupt. Sleep comes mainly through the secretion of the hormone melatonin, which increases the evening at bedtime and decreases in the morning, at sunrise. It turns out that the secretion of melatonin is closely related to the influence of light intensity and wavelength (in short, its color and hue). And this is where the NightCove. By turning the mode "sleep", the case delivers a light similar to that of dusk, whose wavelength does not delay the secretion of melatonin. This light is generated by specific LEDs, the hue and intensity change at a pace slow enough to turn off after 20 minutes (20 minutes and I have not checked, I was already asleep). Clock mode is a bit the same in the other direction, the wavelength delivered with an intensity progressive recreates the natural light of dawn and inhibits the production of melatonin. This triggers a smooth phase of light sleep and waking. To tell you the truth, I welcomed with skepticism (and a bit of irony) the NightCove, thinking it was a beautiful object design - designed to attract customers while speaking women's magazines - but I did not believe not really. Since there are only fools do not change your mind, I am obliged to confess my enthusiasm! I slipped off to sleep each night as a child. And I woke up fresh as a rose in the morning. The sensation provided by NightCove is really soothing, very enveloping. My only regret? Have not had time to test mode "nap" . . . . . . .
