If there was a Legion of Honor for distinguished service to the Folk, without question, I defer to Bob Dylan. 1. To have so much to enrich the movement 2. To allow the pioneers of Folk and country not to completely die and be forgotten forever. The old gentleman, long since, in his possession a leather briefcase containing some old writings of Hank Williams, treasured. Scribbled words, thrown on a sheet, or songs written entirely true that the Countrymen was never recorded. Songs, Hank also said to have written more than 1000 but has immortalized as three hundred. Died too early at 29 years ravaged by alcohol, the work of Williams was necessarily a sense of unfinished business. Sixty years after Bob Dylan, decided to live the soul of the star by calling a tribute album based on the manuscripts carefully preserved. The idea running through his head for some time, but it was not until 2009 that it really takes form under the name The Lost Notebooks of Hank Williams. This compilation, which will be available in stores from October 4, contains only the final twelve songs, the melodies completely original and composed for the occasion.
